Alexandre founded Ginger's studio as a refusal — of the brief that asks for one thing, of the discipline that guards its borders, of the finished object that pretends it was never in motion.
He moves between the drafting table, the mixing desk, the easel and the darkroom as if they were one long workbench. Each medium is a different instrument for the same question: how does a form carry pressure?
Every project passes through his hands twice — once to break it open, once to decide what survives. What remains is not decoration. It is evidence of a struggle that was worth having.
¹ Alexandre — founder and creative director of Ginger's studio. Directs every commission. Answers every letter personally.
The studio refuses to be boxed into a single medium. A poster is scored like a track. A track is hung like a painting. A photograph is staged like a room.
Visual composition, sonic frequencies and spatial scenography² are not separate services here. They are one continuous surface, folded differently each time — so that the client never buys a deliverable, only a decision that holds across every sense it touches.
² Scenography: the composition of space, light and sound around a body. The studio's default scale of thinking.
- I.Every medium is a dialect of the same language.
- II.The brief is a starting pressure, not a boundary.
- III.Leave the seams visible. They prove it was made.
- IV.Finish nothing that cannot still move.
